Melissa has performed in many musical venues over the past 33 years. Her experiences include performances in many theatrical, specialty ensemble and choral groups. During the past 9 years Melissa has performed in several local theater productions in Farmington Hills. Her most favorite roles have been while sharing the stage with daughter Brennan in "Fiddler on the Roof", "The Wizard of Oz" (Glinda), and "Alice in Wonderland" (The White Queen)and with younger daughter Julia (Mother Goose),(Coco the Clown) and this Fall in the "Music Man" (Marian Paroo). She is an active member of The Farmington Players Barn where she teaches summer youth theatre camps with Sky's the Limit Productions. Melissa has also taught Broadway Jrs. pre-school theatre classes through Sky's the Limit Productions, and enjoyed being a Music Specialist at a local Montessori school.
Melissa's journey with Music Together^® began as a parent participating with her daughters Brennan (now a 6th grader)and Julia (now a 3rd grader)in August of 1999. It was during that time while participating in Music Together classes with her 2 daughters that Melissa fell in love with this program and decided to utilize her music background! After completing teacher training with Music Together co-founder Dr. Lili Levonowitz, she began teaching Music Together classes in September, 2003.
